Rainy weather has come and it seems like it will be a while before we get proper summer. Being cooped up in quarantine and trying to maintain social distance can be challenging, but I believe rainy weather might help a little. There is nothing better than curling up on the sofa with a cup of hot tea and a good book.
Over the last few days, the media has been overwhelmingly filled with information regarding the Coronavirus. Shocking facts and figures have circulated through mainstream media outlets as well as social media streams. This information has created fear, anxiety, confusion and so many more emotions across the board. The unknown is a terrifying thought for us as humans, we seek knowledge anywhere we can find it, however this can be dangerous at times when information that is being provided is false, harmful or fear provoking.
Staying inside the house and trying to avoid social contact is difficult in any case, but add sunshine and warm weather to the mix and we are all going crazy, with our feet itching to get outside and especially into the nature. So, in times like these it is a blessing to have a garden, as watching plants grow brings an amazing sense of time passing. The life just goes on, even though we are forced to change our habits and slow down, the plants keep their pace and add new leaves as fast or as slow as they need.
Everyone is stuck in isolation. If it is with family, roommates, pets or just by yourself it can be hard. Not having enough alone time or having too much alone time can drive you wild.
