The 11th National Animal Rights Day

🦋For the first time the NARD (National Animal Rights Day) will be organised in Amsterdam.
🌍NARD is an event, which has been organized by the non-profit organization “Our planet. Theirs Too” for the first time in 2011. Ever since, this day has been celebrated in more than 70 cities, and now it is coming to the Netherlands.
🐥This day is extremely important to raise awareness for the rights of animals and to give our voice to those, that desperately need it. The day is like “Memorial Day” for animals, to remember how much they have to suffer every day. The memorial ceremony is followed by a celebration of the progress that is already made towards a future without animal exploitation. There will be vegan snacks and everyone can sign the Declaration of Animal Rights.
💚We, as VSA Amsterdam, want to join this event collectively. We will be meeting at Central Station at 12:30 on June 6th and then walk to Dam Square together. Let´s join this event to make sure our demand for animal rights will not go unheard! We hope many of you will join us!
