We collect data when your register on our website, place an order in our shop, fill out a form or enter information on our site. We collect the data to offer you the best possible service as a member of our association. We keep track of who our members are and need some basic information (full name and e-mail address) to stay in contact and to also provide the advantages of being a member. This data will be deleted one year after your membership has ended.

Moreover, we collect information about the studies of those applying to become a member, to determine whether people meet the requirements of becoming VSA member. When you have been a member of VSA Amsterdam before, this data will be compared to the existing data to determine whether you are still applicable for being a VSA member. This particular data will be deleted one year after your membership has ended.

Lastly, in the case you order something on our website that requires us to send something to your home address, we collect this information solely for sending the product and will delete your home address after shipment.

    1. Does VSA Amsterdam share your data with Third Parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice. In order to sell our merch, we collaborate with third parties; however, there is no personal information being shared with these third parties. The merch we order is first collected by VSA Amsterdam itself, and then distributed to our members.

In order to save our members information, we make use of a shared space provided to us by our e-mail provider. This shared space is google-based.

Information that your share on the website of VSA Amsterdam is kept secure and confidential. Your encrypted information is stored, and protected using “Secure Socket Layers (SSL) as it passes between your browser and the VSA website. We follow the standards that are applicable to Dutch standards. The collected information stays within the borders of the European Union.

However, it is important to mention that there can never be a 100% security while sharing information over the internet. We strive to use the best means to protect your personal information.
